Executive Assistant/Office Manager
Basingstoke

Due to growth our client is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant/Office Manager to join their team in their Basingstoke office. The purpose of this role is to provide support within a large number of functions across the organisation and predominantly providing support to the Directors and the leadership teams. You will:

  • Manage executive schedules, including meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and events
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and organisational initiatives
  • Work seamlessly with the Office & Events Manager to oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-maintained and productive workspace
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless office functionality
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimise efficiency
  • Support event planning and coordination as required
  • Manage the maintenance, safety, and security of office facilities
  • Liaise with the estate team, contractors, and service providers for repairs and maintenance
  • Keep up to date with regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with health & safety standards
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve facility-related issues
  • Ensure that risk assessments are implemented and maintained as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Be proactive, confident and can work well independently
  • Have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have good working knowledge on Microsoft Office
  • Ideally have some working knowledge within Health and Safety
  • Have experience within producing high level contracts/documentation
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Have a solid educational background
  • Work well within a fast paced and demanding working environment

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
