We are seeking a CASD Architect with expertise in the design and implementation of CA Service Desk and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have experience in creating data feeds for the CA suite to enable a comprehensive enterprise view of assets.
Day to Day of the role:- Design and implement CA Service Desk and CMDB solutions.
- Develop data feeds into the CA suite for a unified enterprise asset view.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled agile team, sharing challenges and cross-training.
- Own the delivery of work packages from design to prototyping, ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and execute repeatable unit tests to validate functionality and handle both expected and unexpected outcomes.
- Provide through-life support for the work package, from user piloting to production, including early life support.
- Create and maintain support and design documentation to aid users and support staff.
- Manage ongoing changes to the work package in response to user requirements.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of CA Service Desk and CMDB.
- Ability to design and implement effective data feeds into the CA suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in scripting unit tests.
- Experience in providing through-life support for IT solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills for support and design materials.
- Agile and adaptable to evolving user requirements.
