Our client is looking for a Despatch Co-ordinate to join them on a temporary basis. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 12.00pm to 8.30pm and Friday 10am to 6.30pm, this role is fully office based.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the despatch process of goods from the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers. You will be co-ordinating with various departments, liaising with delivery partners and drivers, and maintaining accurate admin records.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate bookings for external pallet networks and couriers
  • First point of contact for drivers and deliver partners delivering orders sent from the Basingstoke warehouse
  • Responsible for ensuring all orders are despatched with the correct documentation
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to despatch and delivery
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods where necessary
  • May be asked to help with ad-hoc warehouse admin tasks if needed
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement by working collaboratively within the overall Distribution team
