They are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker to join their team as a temporary member of staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the school premises.About the roleAs a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school's facilities to a high standard. This includes general repairs, cleaning, security, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.Key Responsibilities
- Opening the school buildings.
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe and ready for use each day.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs.
- Overseeing site security, including responding to emergencies or alarms.
- Supporting with event setups or rearranging school spaces as needed.
- Monitoring stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
Key Requirements
- Experience in maintenance and caretaking within a school environment.
- Basic DIY skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
- A friendly, flexible attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
