We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated UK Payroll Specialist to be responsible for all tasks involved in processing payroll (UK predominately with some involvement in international) in the Trade and Services industry. The successful candidate will have exposure to 3rd party payroll vendor management, end to end processing experience as well as excellent organisation.

Description

UK Payroll Specialist

  • End to end Payroll ownership - UK and a few international payrolls (outsourced, 3rd party vendor communication)
  • Submission of all payroll data and payroll reconciliations (monthly) for audit, both internal and external
  • P11D reporting, P45/P60 generation for all internal employees
  • Year end payroll duties
  • Analyse current payroll process - identify bottlenecks and potential areas for streamlining and process improvement
  • Liaise with internal senior stakeholders - Finance, HR and more

Profile

A successful UK Payroll Specialist should have:

  • A strong understanding of payroll processing and legislation in the UK (international is highly advantageous)
  • Exposure to 3rd party providers
  • CIPP Qualification (Highly desirable)
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to commute to Basingstoke
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Brilliant MS Package knowledge (in particular with MS Excel)
