We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) in this new role as OrganisationalResilience Manager, on a fixed term basis for 12 months. As we continue to shape the future of SNG following the merger of Sovereign and Network Homes, this role is integral to establishing a resilientenvironment that aligns with SNG's strategic objectives and operational needs.

Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'llshare your time between the office and home to ensure a positive work / life balance. There may be some travel required with this role across our geography, so you should have access to transport and be happy to travel.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive approach to operationalresilience and businesscontinuity. With robust frameworks in place, SNG will be well-prepared to respond to and recover from disruptive incidents, maintaining operationalcontinuity and enhancing organisationalresilience.

Collaboratingwith key stakeholders across the business, you'll develop and integrate resilience strategies, optimise incidentmanagement processes and develop a mindset of proactive planning across the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing robust incidentmanagement and businesscontinuityframeworks, that supportoperationalresilience
  • Ensuring operationalresilience aligns with SNG's Enterprise Control framework
  • Leading the development and execution of incidentmanagement processes, ensuring an efficient business response to any disruptions and defining clear roles and responsibilities in these events
  • Collaboratingwith key stakeholders to integrate resilience strategies across SNG's process landscape, ensuring resilience and continuity plans support and enhance the internal controlenvironment
  • Developing and delivering training programs and workshops focused on incidentmanagement and businesscontinuity, and their role in organisationalresilience
  • Establishing the means to test and evaluate the effectiveness of operationalresilienceframeworks

What we're looking for

You should havedemonstrableexperience in a similar role within incidentmanagement and businesscontinuity, ideally within a large or complex organisation. You'll also have:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementingoperationalresilienceframeworks
  • Experienceleadingincidentmanagement processes, including post incident reviews to identify learnings
  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to implement solutions, translating frameworks into altered business practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholderengagement skills, with the ability to advise and influence where required
  • Experience of developing training and facilitating workshops focused on incidentmanagement and businesscontinuity
  • Familiaritywith relevant legal and regulatoryrequirements in the housing or social services sector would be beneficial
