Polisher/Finisher
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £28,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 - 12:00
We are seeking a Polisher/Finisher to join an established and fast growing Engineering/Manufacturing company in Basingstoke. For the right person there are opportunities to progress and develop your skills. Our ideal Polisher/Finisher has worked in a similar role and will need the following skills and experience:
- You have worked in a manufacturing workshop environment (preferably machinery)
- Your experience include deburring of stainless steel and mild steel items
- You have knowledge of preparing, pre-polishing and finishing polish stainless steel
- You can work to written manufacturing instructions
- You are competent in handling heavy and large items
- Ideally you have worked with large machinery equipment
- You will have very strong attention to detail
- You are physically fit
- A forklift license is beneficial but not essential.
