Quality TechnicianPertemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Quality Technician to join a dynamic engineering company based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:- Inspection of goods, machined, fabricated and surface finished goods- Raising non-conformance reports of failed goods- Complete bookings in process via ERP system- Maintain and create goods inspection procedures for parts in accordance with ISO- Create inspection jigs and fixtures to improve inspection times- Packing of goods including boxed, palletised or crated- Assist with arranging material certificationsRequirments for this role:- Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment- Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings.- Good knowledge of computerised stock control and ERP systems.- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.- Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting.- Maintenance of measuring equipment including calibration.- Clean driving license - as role will require driving for local collections and inspections from suppliers.The Quality Technician role- Starting salary of £28,000 per annum- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm- Medical cash planIf you are interested in this Quality Technician position, please apply below or get in contact with Jemma at Pertemps.
