About the Company:

We are Prism eLogistics (UK) Ltd a business based in Basingstoke Hampshire, providing automated contract sleeving, 3PL and efulfilment distribution services.

Established in 2020 and part of the Spearpoint Security Group a Singapore based investment group, who have provided major investment for us to expand.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Production Line Leader to work on our sleeving side to report direct to the Production Team Leander of sleeving.

This is a hands-on role that assists the daily running of the operation to achieve timely processing and despatch of production goods.

The role reports to the Sleeving Production Manager.

As a Production Line leader, an individual is responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the operation and daily achievement of service levels.

This includes the following responsibilities:

  • Follow production instructions to assemble products or components according to client specifications
  • Supervise staff , monitoring quality and productivity for the assignments.
  • Inspect parts and components before and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operate production equipment to manufacture goods according to specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Remove defective or faulty products and ensure they are properly addressed
  • Pack completed products for shipping, ensuring they are correctly labelled and handled
  • Report safety hazards or malfunctions to Supervisors
  • Work in collaboration with other team members and departments to meet production targets
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors or other departments if issues arise during the assembly process
  • Fully report any stock losses, damages to product or equipment and concerns to the Sleeving Production Manager or Supervisor
  • Label and prepare items for shipping according to organizational and shipping standards
  • Provide training and coaching of staff when instructed to by their line manager
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism in all communications with colleagues, clients and site visitors
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure service levels are met daily
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse to ensure tidiness, safety and productivity
  • Ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to by all employees
  • Maintain an organised workspace and store finished products properly to avoid damage
  • Ensure the production area remains clean and organised to comply with safety regulations
  • Keeping stock safely stored in accessible locations
  • Communicate all updates and progress to line manager to facilitate collaboration and effective planning
  • Conduct any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and production operation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Forklift Truck licence -Aisle Master and Counterbalance
