I am looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Basingstoke to work within a team for Social Housing contractor, on a permanent contract.

The role of the Managing Quantity Surveyor:
  • Managing the commercials of the sub regional office
  • Supporting with the forecasting and future projections for the sub region
  • Managing the CVR process on a monthly basis for all sub regional contracts
  • Monitoring the contract's progress
  • Managing the controls around individual contract budgets
  • Preparing and monitoring cash flow
  • Preparing and submitting monthly applications for payment to the client or client's representative
  • Submitting invoices for certified value and ensuring payments are received on time.
  • Valuing and authorising payments to sub-contractors
  • Assisting in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders
  • Liaising with contract managers to establish the project specification and requirements
  • Mentoring and supporting the Surveyors in the region

I would love to hear from a Managing Quantity Surveyor who has:
  • Experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the social housing industry
  • UK Full Driving License
  • Able to pass a DBS check
  • Good IT skills
