Responsive Repairs and Planned Refurbishments - Kitchens, Bathrooms and Roofing refits

This position is working for a reputable social housing contractor with 20 regional offices across the country and over 700 employees providing local knowledge. Group turnover stands at 200m and there's plenty of financial stability. They have a great reputation for client relationships with councils and housing associations which has spanned over 100 years.

The Role

Obtain and evaluate information to guarantee a realistic cost for the supply of works, goods, materials and services for designated Social Housing, tenanted, planned works refurbishments.

While liaising with contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure information, costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of designated project/contracts.

Covering contracts across the region, whic are typically planned refurbishment works of Tenanted Social Housing properties (typically covering all aspects of refurbishments to properties including Kitchens, bathrooms, doors and roofing replacements). Your role is to obtain and evaluate information to ensure a realistic cost for the supply of works, goods, materials, and services for designated Responsive & Refurbishment Projects. Whilst liaising with Contractors, Suppliers and Clients to ensure information, costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of designated project/contracts.

* Managing the monthly CVR Process for your region
* Lead and manage the performance of a well established team of colleagues which include, a QS/AQS/TQS & Commercial Admin
* Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects.
* Ensure all invoices submitted accurately and for certified value to ensure payments are received on time.
* Support your team to value and authorise payments to sub-contractors within the region
* Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.
* Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
* Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.
* Support the team with monitoring the contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.
* Assist in the control of contract budgets.
* Assist in the development of the procurement programme.
