Job Title: Prep Technician Vehicle Technician
Salary: £34,000 plus monthly bonus (OTE £40,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 1 in 4 Saturdays mornings
Location: Basingstoke
Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a family-run dealer group with Dealerships in the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire areas. We are recruiting for a Prep Technician to join their busy Basingstoke Dealership.

Responsibilities of Prep Technician - Vehicle Technician:
- Completing New Car Pre Delivery Inspections, and Used Car Preparation checks including servicing, additional maintenance, repairs and / or diagnostics on the full range of vehicles.
- Maximising efficiency, while always maintaining company and industry standards and benchmarks.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair methods.
- Utilise Company and manufacturer systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out.
- Providing your colleagues and customers with highly detailed explanations of work required, or work carried out. Through face to face and video communications.
Ideal candidate and Requirements for Prep Technician - Vehicle Technician:
- You will be a fully trained and experienced service technician with an eye for detail.
- NVQ/IMI or City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications are an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
