Construction Operative

We are currently working with a leading, professional construction company that has been established for over 20 years.

The company specialise in facade and estate regeneration and are looking to expand their workforce with permanent additional experienced site labourers to join their team on a permanent basis on a new site in Basingstoke.

The successful labourers will be responsible for reporting to the Site Manager, delivering specified works to a time frame both safely and efficiently whilst ensuring that site rules are followed.

Responsibilities will include and not be limited to;

• Dealing and organizing site deliveries and loading/unloading
• Assisting the site manager with inspections and site updates
• Ensure the site is clean & tidy, waste disposal and clearance
• Keep up to date with regulations and legislation
• Assisting with site machinery
• Ensuring that rules are followed and tasks delegated are completed safely and to schedule
• Various physical labouring, cleaning and clearing tasks and general site maintenance
• Working from height.

Skills & Qualifications required;

• A minimum of 12 months site experience in construction
• Physically fit and able for strenuous tasks
• Valid CSCS card and training in manual handling and working from height
• Full UK driving license
• Knowledge and use of hand tools
• Traffic Marshall/Banksman experience (although this is desirable not essential).
