Art & Photography Teacher Required for Secondary School in Basingstoke

Are you a passionate teacher with a love for Art or Photography? We are currently working with a secondary school in Basingstoke, seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join their dynamic team. Whether you specialize in Art or Photography, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:You will be joining a supportive and nurturing staff team, dedicated to raising student attainment through creative and engaging lessons. The school is ideally looking for candidates with a formal teaching qualification, however, they will also consider applicants with teaching experience who specialize in either Art or Photography. You don’t need to be a specialist in both!

If you have experience teaching Art or Photography at secondary school level, we encourage you to apply. For those with less teaching experience, support and training will be provided to help you settle into the role and grow your teaching skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach their subject area to GCSE level, delivering dynamic and inspiring lessons while maintaining positive classroom behaviour. You will play an integral role in helping students unlock their creativity and develop their talents.

About You:

  • Ideally, a qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (NQTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching either Art or Photography at secondary school level
  • A passion for your subject and for inspiring students
  • Ability to engage and motivate students, managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate with other department members
  • For those with less teaching experience, we offer full support to help you develop your skills and confidence

Salary:This role will be paid to scale based on experience, with a salary range between £31,650 - £43,606.
