The School is a mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1000 students in total. The School is based in the Basingstoke Area. The school was graded as a Good School in its last Ofsted inspection and continues to perform well.

Overview:

Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor role for a Secondary School in the Basingstoke area. This position begins in the new academic year on a long-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate will work as a cover supervisor with students in KS3 and KS4, working within a supportive department.

Responsibilities:

-          Oversee whole classes using materials provided by the teacher to engage students in educational activities.

-          Foster positive working relationships with students, serving as a role model and setting high expectations for both their work and behaviour.

-          Encourage the participation of all students to provide optimal learning opportunities, handling behaviour concerns in line with the school's behaviour policy.

-          Respond to students' general inquiries and help keep them focused on their assignments.

-          Perform registration duties in the tutor's absence.

Qualifications Required:

-          Degree

-          GCSE Maths, English and Science
