We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our secondary school team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about history and eager to inspire a love of learning about the past in young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and active participation among students.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, sharing insights and strategies to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Utilise a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching history at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
