Pay Rate: £230.00 Per Day
Foundation Personnel is seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join a drainage gang on an industrial units project in Basingstoke. This role involves working with drainage up to 2.5m deep, requiring precision and attention to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of drainage pipes to specified depths and grades (up to 2.5m)
- Preparing and leveling trenches for proper pipe installation
- Laying pipes, ensuring correct alignment and seal to prevent leaks
- Assisting with backfilling and compacting soil around installed pipes
- Regularly inspecting pipe installations to maintain quality standards
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, particularly with confined spaces
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Confined Spaces Certification
- Proven experience in pipe laying within civil construction or similar projects
