We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join our multi-skilled agile team, which includes specialists in security, service, and management. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who thrives in a varied and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the delivery of work packages from design through to production, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are met.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled agile team, emphasizing teamwork and cross-training.
  • Own the delivery of work packages from design to prototyping, ensuring compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and script repeatable unit tests to assess both desired and undesired outcomes.
  • Support the work package through user piloting and into production, providing early life support.
  • Create and maintain support and design documentation to assist users and support personnel throughout the lifecycle of the work package.
  • Manage ongoing changes to the work package in response to evolving user requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills in delivering configuration change via GPO, Registry, Filesystem, PowerShell cmdlets, or WMI.
  • Familiarity with Windows Update and patching mechanisms, including Windows Installer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
