Java Developer - Eligible for SC & DV - Perm
Location: BasingstokeType: Permanent, HybridSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits Package Clearance: Eligible for SC & DV Clearances - Sole British National
A primary technical partner of the MOD are looking to add to their Software innovation team. This role will be working with an existing team, collaborating with teams on supporting supporting the mission of keeping UK Defence agile and safe.
Responsible for the design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended programs from supplied. Specifications in accordance with agreed standards. The provision of application maintenance and support services, either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions.
Your transferable skills and experience
- 3 years of JAVA development experience within an enterprise
- Experience of source control and CI/CD principles
- Designs or undertakes impact analysis of medium size solutions or partial solutions within a large established architecture.
- Schedules and monitors own work, minimal escalation of problems and queries.
- Contributes to solution reviews.
- Experience of developing or configuration of EDRMS systems is desirable.
