Behaviour Support Assistant - Basingstoke

We are supporting a unique co-educational secondary provision in the Basingstoke area, who provide education and care to young people between the ages of 10 and 16. Most young people at this school have Social, emotional and mental health needs as well as associated needs. They have a need for Behaviour Support Assistant's to join them on a long term, ongoing basis with the possibility of going temp to perm. The school have some really great facilities including a brand new computer suite. fitness/gym facilities and a new school library, paired with their specialist classrooms, they aim to provide a learning environment that enables their students to thrive. Providing opportunities to children to encourage them to reach their potential with the skills necessary to overcome barriers.You should always be prepared to support the pupils in class going above and beyond daily to give students the best possible experience daily during their time at school. Due to the needs of the students, ideally you will have relevant, recent experience or qualifications, we will consider candidates qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology but other subjects will also be considered.
