SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

32.5 hours per week

24,790- 25,183 FTE + 2000 Allowance

We are working with an Ofsted 'Outstanding' SEN School Trust that is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

This Teaching Assistant role will be based on one of their all through school sites in Basingstoke. The school cares for young people between the ages of 5-16 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The purpose of the role is as follows:

To undertake work/care/support programmes and to enable access to learning and to assist a teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom
To support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils with the provision of specialist skills as appropriate

They are seeking someone who has the following:

NVQ level 2 or equivalent
GCSE Maths & English (A-C grade)
Experience of working with young people
