Unqualified SEN Teacher - SEN School, Basingstoke (Autism) - ASAP start, full-time
Academics are recruiting on behalf of an SEN school in Basingstoke who are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Unqualified SEN Teacher to join them ASAP. This is an on-going, temp to perm contract. This is only suitable for an Unqualified SEN Teacher who is looking for a full-time, permanent contract and lives locally to the school in Basingstoke.
The school in Basingstoke caters for learners from Year 1 to Year 11 whose needs cannot be met within a mainstream environment. All students will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in relation to their Social, Communication Needs (SCN) associated with a diagnosis of Autism.
It is a purpose built two-storey school with specialist classrooms and extensive external grounds. They are looking to grow to offer spaces for up to 128 full time pupils with personalised academic and therapeutic programmes to help them progress in life.
As a Unqualified SEN Teacher, you will be required to deliver engaging lessons to meet the individual learning needs of the pupils in your class. Although experience of teaching in an SEN school would be beneficial, they are open to Unqualified Teachers, Instructors and Cover Supervisors from a mainstream background, both primary and secondary sectors who are passionate about teaching children with additional learning needs.
