Tour Driver Guide Duties & Responsibilities:
• Deliver memorable private and small group tours around southern England
• Drive an 8-seat Mercedes minibus
• Provide personalised commentary and local information
• Day-to-day management of clients
• Completion of daily vehicle requirements including vehicle checks and cleanliness
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
• Basingstoke-area based
• Confident driver with a clean license
• Ability to engage enthusiastically with clients and recount knowledge, anecdotes & back stories
• Highly organised and flexible in a changing day-to-day operational environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Successful applicants are generally retained seasonally (from March to October) on a contractual, self-employed basis and can be expected to work typically 3 or 4 days a week on the road during this time. Depending on demand, 1 to 3 days of work a week is normally available from November to February. Once qualified and ready to work, driver guides are paid an extremely competitive hourly rate.
Pay: From £15ph plus lunch allowance, tips, and commission for 5* reviews
Schedule:Â 10-hour shift
Experience:
- minibus driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Private Hire Driving Licence (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Clean UK Driving LicenceÂ
- Private Hire Driving Licence is required but we can help you with obtaining this
