  • My client is seeking enthusiastic candidates with prior experience in transport development planning, either in consultancy or local authorities.
  • The ideal applicant should have a solid grasp of transport planning principles and strong presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Candidates need to have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 is offered.
  • Responsibilities include project management of smaller to medium-sized projects and collaboration with multi-discipline teams on various development projects.
  • Experience with Junctions 10 and LinSig software, as well as knowledge of relevant highway design standards, is also required.

My client is looking for enthusiastic and experienced candidates with previous experience in transport development planning, either in consultancy or a local authority.
 
Applicants should have:
 
- A good understanding of the principles of transport planning
- Good presentation and technical writing skills
- An ability to manage their own time to meet project deadlines
- An ability to work with other consultancies in multi-discipline teams on development projects including residential, commercial, retail, and leisure developments
- An ability to project manage smaller and medium sized projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documents, including:
o Transport Assessments
o Travel Plans
o Environmental Statement Chapters
- Experience building, running and understanding the outputs of Junctions 10 and LinSig software
- Knowledge of highway design in MfS, DMRB, LTN1/20 and the requirements of Active Travel England and Healthy Streets
- An ability to pursue business development opportunities and building client relationships Supporting in negotiations, and attending meetings, with Highway Authorities.
- Experience in preparing fee proposals for new projects and budget management.
- Inspiring, developing, and mentoring less-experienced members of staff.
