Vehicle Technician - Basingstoke
Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership in Basingstoke. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading brand, offering a competitive salary and excellent earning potential.
Position Details:
- Location: Basingstoke
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 weekends
- Salary: 30,000 to 36,500
- OTE: 50,000+
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair complex faults to the highest manufacturer standards.
- Perform thorough inspections and ensure work is completed to a high level of accuracy.
- Liaise with customers and service advisors, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A valid UK driving licence.
