Description
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of sea, air, and road freight shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
- Liaise with customers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to track and monitor shipments, ensuring any delays or issues are resolved efficiently.
- Provide regular status updates and proactively communicate with clients regarding shipment progress.
- Manage import/export compliance, ensuring all shipments meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, operations, and finance) to ensure smooth end-to-end shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with shipment details and costs.
