We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronics Lecturer for a short-term temporary contract. This position involves teaching Level 2 and Level 3 courses, with a focus on various BTEC and City & Guilds units..
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on electrical and electronics engineering topics at Level 2 and Level 3.
- Cover specific units including Electronic Circuits, Electrical Machines, Electronic Fault Finding, and more as outlined in the BTEC and City & Guilds curriculum.
- Prepare course materials and assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with faculty in the continuous improvement of course content and materials.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of the T level engineering program.
- Proven experience as an Electrical / Electronics Lecturer, particularly with Level 2 and Level 3 courses.
- Familiarity with BTEC and City & Guilds curriculum, specifically the units listed in the job description.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students.
- Strong organisational skills to manage course materials and schedules.
- Ability to start immediately on the specified date.
- Competitive hourly rate of £40 - £45.
