We are seeking an English Teacher to deliver both GCSE and Functional Skills courses. This role is ideal for someone passionate about English literature and language, and skilled in inspiring students to achieve their best.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities, focusing on both GCSE and Functional Skills curricula.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work.
- Facilitate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
- Stay updated with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in English.
- Experience teaching English at GCSE level and Functional Skills.
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
