Position: Leakage Technician

My client is a large utilities contractor with a great reputation in the water industry. They have an excellent reputation as one of the highest performing water utilities contractors in the UK and offer excellent opportunities to build a career in the water utilities sector.

They are currently looking for Leakage Technicians or those looking to become a leakage technician and work in Basingstoke or across Sussex. 聽This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest water consultancies attached to multiple water utility frameworks such as Southern Water, Thames Water, South East Water.

The role consists of identifying water leaks underground using above ground tracing and sounding techniques. You will be provided with a company vehicle and training. The ideal candidate will have local road knowledge and be prepared to learn new skills.

The role:
路Detecting water leaks
路Locating issues in water supply
路Walking local areas to trace leaks
路Driving to site to work on DMA

Requirements:
路Full UK Driving License
路Able to walk long distances a day
路Good basic Maths & English skils
路Basic IT knowledge
路Good hearing to use equipment
路Willing to work nights and weekends and overtime when required
路Good team and lone working
路Ability to communicate findings

On offer is a salary of 拢24-27,000 based working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
In addition to this there is an opportunity for overtime at an enhanced rates X1.5 along with a fully expensed company vehicle.
