Welder / Fabricator required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator with experience with TIG welding on stainless steel sheet material.
Welder / Fabricator - Sheet Metal Job Overview- Carrying out TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials between 1 - 3mm.
- Working in line with production schedules and deadlines
- Setting up and operating fabrication equipment
- Implementing continuous improvements within the manufacturing department
- Reading, creating and interpreting welding drawings
- Maintaining the factory and onsite equipment
- Complying with the health and safety policies
- Previous experience with TIG & MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials
- Based in a commutable distance of Basingstoke, Hampshire
- High attention to detail
- Experience with fabrication machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters and rollers
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Working hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday. Friday 08:00 - 15:00. 37.5 hour working week.
