Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting an Education organisation on the outskirts of Bath who are seeking an Interim Finance Officer to join them for a period of circa 2 months. This role has hybrid working + parking.

Role: Finance Officer

Duration: Circa2 months

Start date: ASAP/W/c 31st March

Working pattern: Full time - 37.5 hours a week. Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office.

Role:

  • Maintaining 3rd party sponsors ledger - Chasing payments
  • Resolving queries around fees/loans
  • Updating changes of circumstances and ensuring information is accurate
  • Data entry into the system - subsequently resolving problems/discrepancies when they arise
  • Processing international loans
  • Liaising with wider teams & resolving queries

Skills/experience needed:

  • Natural problem solver!
  • Excellent communication
  • Willingness to learn
  • High Attention to detail
  • Great organisation and ability to react to incoming requests
  • Computer literate
  • General finance experience - Credit control is beneficial
  • Ability to read debtor accounts
  • Higher Education or Student Loans experience - Desirable
