Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting an Education organisation on the outskirts of Bath who are seeking an Interim Finance Officer to join them for a period of circa 2 months. This role has hybrid working + parking.
Role: Finance Officer
Duration: Circa2 months
Start date: ASAP/W/c 31st March
Working pattern: Full time - 37.5 hours a week. Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office.
Role:
- Maintaining 3rd party sponsors ledger - Chasing payments
- Resolving queries around fees/loans
- Updating changes of circumstances and ensuring information is accurate
- Data entry into the system - subsequently resolving problems/discrepancies when they arise
- Processing international loans
- Liaising with wider teams & resolving queries
Skills/experience needed:
- Natural problem solver!
- Excellent communication
- Willingness to learn
- High Attention to detail
- Great organisation and ability to react to incoming requests
- Computer literate
- General finance experience - Credit control is beneficial
- Ability to read debtor accounts
- Higher Education or Student Loans experience - Desirable
