Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a leading organisation in Bath, who are on the search for a Management Accountant on a 10-month contract.

Hybrid Working 

Salary - £40,000-£45,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of management accounts.
  • Supervise two direct reports (Assistant Management Accountant and Accounts Payable Clerk).
  • Manage the purchase ledger and ensure precise data entry.
  • Communicate with budget holders and contribute to the annual budgeting process.
  • Assist with year-end accounts and audits.
  • Review supplier payments and staff expenses.
  • Oversee company credit card processing.
  • Complete monthly casual payroll in collaboration with HR.
  • Support the enhancement of financial controls.
  • Undertake special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified in ACCA/ACA or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
