Tax Manager

Bennett & Game is collaborating with a distinguished Top 20 accountancy practice, operating from offices in Bath, Chippenham & Swindon, to recruit a Tax Manager. The firm offers a competitive salary of up to 60,000, hybrid working arrangements, 25 days of holiday, medical insurance, a bonus scheme, and free parking.

The selected candidate will lead and manage a diverse client portfolio, focusing on peronal taxes. Responsibilities include serving as the primary client contact, overseeing a team of tax seniors and trainees, and collaborating closely with other directors and partners to enhance the firm's services.

• Provide expert tax advice, ensuring compliance and efficiency for clients.
• Lead the preparation and review of self-assessment tax computations and filings.
• Dealing with a portfolio of HNWI, personal and trust work
• Delegate work to the team to ensure deadlines are met
• Identify business development opportunities to expand client offerings.
• Manage and develop a high-performing tax team

• CTA qualified is preferred. However, ATT, ACCA or ACA qualifications are also fine
• 5+ years experience in practice with technical experience across personal tax
• Experience managing a portfolio and being first point of contact for your clients
• Within a commutable distance to Bath, Swindon & Trowbridge

• Salary up to Circa 60,000 per annum
• Working Week Monday to Friday
• Working Hours 9.00am to 5.00pm
