As a Financial Accountant, you will assist the Partnership Accountant in managing partner finances, including capital accounts, tax provisions, profit shares, and partner transactions whilst also upholding strong relationships with the key members of the global finance team.As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:Oversee the financial affairs of 100+ global partners, including:
  • Setting up financial processes for new partners, such as payments, pension schemes, and tax registration.
  • Preparing financial statements for Capital, Monthly Reward, Profit Share, Taxation, and the Partner Share Scheme.
  • Supporting the Partnership Accountant in their responsibilities.
  • Managing partner capital investments and coordinating with banks on capital loans.
  • Creating retirement statements for departing partners.
  • Calculating monthly drawings schedules and advance profit share payments.
  • Maintaining partner tax accounts and estimating tax retentions.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the global finance team, assisting with broader financial tasks and professional development opportunities.
To be considered for the position of Financial Accountant, you will possess:
  • Fully or part qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting standards and principles
  • Self-driven and highly organized, with a track record of managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in repetitive tasks
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely and efficient completion
