Structural Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer, with a couple of years' experience to join an established Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy renowned for working on a variety of technically challenging projects valuing up to 10M.

On offer is the unique chance to join a close knit consultancy who value their staff by offering training on a variety of projects, chartership support and long term progression to Director level.

This specialist consultancy have built a reputation for providing a seamless service to clients in the Heritage, conversation, new build sectors. They pride themselves on working on unique projects offering Structural and Civil advisory services. Due to their service they have experienced recent growth and therefore a looking to add a Structural Engineer to their already successful team with the opportunity to develop their current skillset with the business and Progress.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating structural designs for a range of projects. You will be required to produce clearly presented calculation reports and drawings using AutoCAD. Unlike bigger consultancies, in this role you will not be pigeonholed. All staff are strongly encouraged to develop as quick as possible and so you will liaise with clients and go on site visits from day one as well as work on all different projects.

This role would therefore ideally suit a Structural Engineer with at least 2 years' experience working within a consultancy.

The Role:
* Working on Heritage, Conservation and New build projects
* Conducting site visits in order to inspect works & produce site inspection reports
* Delivering projects from pre-construction/design stage through construction while supporting queries on site.
* Working with Tedds, Telka Structural Designer, AutoCAD

The Person:
* Civil or Structural engineering degree
* 2+ years' experience in Building structures design
* Working towards chartership, (ICE or IStructE ) would be preferred but not essential
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
