Exciting Opportunity: Billing Assistant at Award-Winning Law Firm in Bath
Are you a recent School, College, or University leaver with a passion for Finance, Accounts, or Billing? An award-winning law firm based in Bath city centre is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Billing Assistant to join their growing team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to 25,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
About the Role: This is a hybrid working role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. You will support fee earners in Bath with their billing needs, in a function that is only two/three years old, offering substantial scope for growth and development. This is a fantastic opportunity to lay down a strong foundation for your career in the legal finance industry.
Key Duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for queries and requests from the firm's lawyers across the UK.
- Manage and prepare reports for distribution to fee earners and partners.
- Amend reports and prepare draft bills.
- Finalise client bills.
- Assist the Billing Coordinator with the upload of eBilling files.
- Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures.
- Communicate with fee earners, partners, and external clients.
- Liaise with the internal accounts team.
- Manage disbursements.
- Request the opening of new case files.
