We are seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join our team in the beautiful city of Bath. The position offers flexible working hours, primarily during school hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional hours outside of these times.

• Oversee the general upkeep of the school premises, ensuring all areas are safe and well-maintained.
• Perform regular inspections and basic repairs of the school buildings and facilities.
• Manage the cleaning team to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the school.
• Set up facilities for assemblies, events, and other school activities.
• Ensure security measures are in place and effective during school hours and after hours.
• Liaise with external contractors for maintenance and repair works when necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.

• Experience in caretaking or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Good knowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasks.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable, with the willingness to work outside of standard school hours when required.
