Business Analyst

12-Month Contract - £550-£600pd Outside IR35

Location: Bath (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

Deerfoot Recruitment is working with a financial services organisation to find an experienced Business Analyst to join their dynamic team on an outside IR35 contract to support their large-scale transformation programme. This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of key initiatives, including platform upgrades, front-end propositional development, and infrastructure enhancements.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, analysing solutions, and supporting business readiness activities to ensure the success of this transformational programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed requirement documentation to support project objectives.
  • Conduct solution analysis to align business needs with technical capabilities.
  • Create process maps to visualise and improve workflows.
  • Support the development of business readiness materials to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Assist with acceptance and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

About You:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:

  • Business Analyst within the Wealth Management / Asset Management / Insurance / Investment or other Financial Services Sectors
  • Strong skills in requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
  • Knowledge of transformation programmes and familiarity with wealth management platform upgrades (e.g. GBST Composer) is desirable but not essential.
