We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join our clients ERP team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality D365 solutions, with a particular emphasis on integrating Field Service and Finance & Operations functionality.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in a Functional Consultant role, with a demonstrable focus on previous projects involving Central Engagement (CE), Finance & Operations (F&O), and, crucially, Field Service.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end CRM/ERP implementations, with specific expertise in Field Service module configuration and integration.
  • Deep understanding of Field Service business processes, including work order management, scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, and mobile capabilities.
  • Experience integrating Field Service with other D365 modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Finance) and external systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and translate complex business requirements into system configurations and features, and effectively train users.
  • Experience with data migration strategies and tools, specifically related to Field Service data.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, objectives, and pain points, with a focus on Field Service requirements, to gather and document a comprehensive fit-gap analysis for our Dynamics 365 services.
  • Design and configure Microsoft D365 solutions, to meet specific business needs.
  • Lead the integration of Field Service with other D365 modules and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Map existing and proposed business processes, provided by cross functional teams.
  • Plan and execute data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and import into D365, specifically for Field Service data (e.g., work orders, assets, resources).
  • Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for end-users on the D365 system, with a focus on Field Service functionality and best practices.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Dynamics 365 users, with a focus on Field Service related issues.
  • Continuously evaluate the system's performance and identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements, particularly within the Field Service module. Provide performance metrics for review.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with business teams, project managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring project progress and alignment with client expectations.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, design specifications, configuration changes, and training materials.
  • Develop and implement custom plugins, workflows, and reports, as needed, to meet specific client requirements within Field Service.
  • Support the business in managing the change associated with the adoption of new systems and processes, including user adoption strategies and change control procedures related to Field Service implementations.
