Data Protection Officer6-month FTCBath/London basedWe're currently working with a brilliant Legal 500 firm, ranked as one of the UK's top 200 firms, they're currently looking for someone to join the business as a Data Protection Officer to offer support to the Risk and Compliance Director. You will act under the UK GDPR, assuring the firm's compliance function is in line with GDPR and other data protection legislation. Building effective systems, and controls and acting as a main POC for all data protection activities.Day to day:
  • Monitor compliance inline with data protection legislation
  • Data Protection audits
  • Oversee all data protection systems and processes
  • Privacy notices
  • DPIAs
  • update and manage policies and procedures.
Successful candidates:
  • Previous experience in a data protection role
  • Ideally within a law firm
  • Ready to hit the ground running, standing on your own two feet
  • Confidence in dealing with data protection matters.
