You will act under the UK GDPR, assuring the firm's compliance function is in line with GDPR and other data protection legislation. Building effective systems, and controls and acting as a main POC for all data protection activities.Day to day:

Monitor compliance inline with data protection legislation
Data Protection audits
Oversee all data protection systems and processes
Privacy notices
DPIAs
update and manage policies and procedures.

Successful candidates:

Previous experience in a data protection role
Ideally within a law firm
Ready to hit the ground running, standing on your own two feet
Confidence in dealing with data protection matters.
