Our client is solar and electrical contractors with a great reputation to deliver commercial and industrial solar installations. Their portfolio of services includes - Solar / EV charge point installation / Battery installations / Electrical installations and Commercial roofing. They are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead their solar energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the solar market, and a passion for renewable energy. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth of solar solutions. For the right candidate the opportunity to develop into a Sales Director with equity is an opportunity for the future

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a lead generation strategy
  • Identify new business opportunities and self-generate commercial solar leads
  • Build relationships with potential client, and drive the growth of solar solutions
  • Build a network of customers and contacts
  • Quickly establish a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Selling 100kw+ solar schemes.
  • Sales target will be c£1m.

Skills / Experience:

  • Commercial Solar design and sales
  • Sales experience in the solar space or a network of contacts that could be targeted for solar sales
  • Lead generation
  • Electrical installations an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
