Your new companyA permanent opportunity has arisen to join a leading not-for-profit housing association based in Somerset as a Senior Property Assessor! You will join an organisation who are responsible for providing high-quality homes and care services across the West of England, managing over 14,000 properties that serve more than 25,000 residents. This is your opportunity to join an employer who will allow you to make a real-world, lasting impact across the region. Your new roleYou will join as a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Assessor, joining a dynamic and forward-thinking team of property assessors and energy assessors. You will lead a team of surveyors who are responsible for conducting surveys to assess the condition of homes. These surveys are critical, as they enable accurate planning for future investment programmes, to include energy efficiency improvements. Your varied role will involve ensuring properties and surveys are compliant by reviewing, and approving assessment reports prepared by your team members. You will lead a team of assessors, providing training and development opportunities for the team, whilst ensuring that survey and assessment outcomes are communicated to internal stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in undertaking and reviewing stock condition surveys and domestic energy assessments.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using assessment tools and software.
