Our client, a prestigiou law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a PR Manager to join their Marketing and Business Development team!

The role:

• The PR Manager will be responsible for managing the firm’s PR and external communications strategy and strengthening its brand by delivering campaigns using a range of channels.
• Securing PR for the firm, to enhance the firm’s reputation and strengthen its brand.
• Develop and implement PR plans with specific work groups in conjunction with the wider marketing team.
• Copywriting, editing and proofing of external communications, including press releases, literature, presentations and relevant content for the website and social media.
• Keep a close eye on the media and liaise with fee-earners for opportunities to comment on reporting trends and breaking news within target areas.
• Managing the firm’s media monitoring (in conjunction with third parties) selecting appropriate coverage for internal communications.
• Track and analyse PR campaigns, reporting on the results and providing insights to senior management.
• Supporting and coaching fee earners in handling and working with the media.
• Managing relationships with trade media.
• Supporting the development of the firm’s thought leadership programme.
• Supporting the Director of Marketing with reputation management.

Key skills/ experience:

• Passion and aptitude for media relations
• Proven track record in PR at a senior level (PR Executive or recently appointed PR Manager’s ideally)
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience with CRM systems
• Ability to adapt style and tone to engage the audience
• Experience within a law firm is desirable
