This would be on the 3- shift based on a 37-hour working week.

Nights Sun 10.30pm to 6am (Mon to Thurs 10pm to 6am) 30-minute unpaid break
Lates: Mon to Thurs 2pm to 10pm (1:30 to 9pm Friday) 30-minute unpaid break
Earlies: Mon to Fri 6am to 2pm (1.30pm Friday) 30-minute unpaid break


Day-to-day of the role:


Set up tooling and fixtures and operate CNC machines as per work instructions within the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to program, prove tooling packages, and carry out new process activities.
Perform minor/basic editing of CNC programs.
Adhere to Inspection Control Plans (ICP) and carry out required data capture to improve process capability and control.
Ensure timely movement of work to the next work centre upon completion of operations.
Support the achievement of business KPIs, such as On-Time Delivery.
Maintain health and safety standards for self and team.
Engage in continuous improvement activities and support the training and development of colleagues.
Maintain compliance with ISO9100 quality standard and support the introduction of new products and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in CNC machining (Milling, Turning, or Mill-Turn) of high precision products from various materials.
Experience in a high value, low volume mechanical manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Fanuc controls.
Ability to problem solve and deliver continual improvement ideas.
Secondary skillset(s) in CNC, Manual Turning, EDM, Rotary, or Cylindrical Grinding is advantageous.
Computer literacy and effective communication skills at all levels.
