We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee a £9 Million residential scheme, ensuring that health and safety, programme, and budget targets are met. This role offers the opportunity to work with a privately-owned contracting organisation and report to a visiting Project Director.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures on-site.
  • Manage the site team, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, liaising with the Project Director and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress updates and compliance documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with some experience within residential construction working for a main contractor.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work.
