The responsibilities include:
Credit Risk Analysis
- Evaluate the financial health and creditworthiness of potential clients using various data sources, including financial accounts, credit bureau reports, and market research.
- Monitor the solvency of existing clients and update risk assessments proactively to mitigate potential risks.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, including economic sanctions and due diligence processes.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies, including credit insurance and other tools to minimise exposure.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide clear and actionable risk insights to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate credit risk data and generate regular reports to support decision-making.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop team members, with scope to expand the team as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to embed a risk-aware culture across the organisation.
Market Awareness & Innovation
- Stay informed about market trends and external factors that may impact credit risk.
- Explore and implement automation and technology solutions to improve risk management processes.
Governance & Strategy
- Participate in regular risk review meetings to escalate key risks and monitor high-priority issues.
- Manage and oversee strategic risk management initiatives to align with organisational goals.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities
- Support the team with additional tasks and projects as required, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the risk management function.
The package:
- Up to 55,000 DOE
- Hybrid working - 1 to 2 days in the office per week
