Senior Data Engineer
Location: Bath, UK
Introduction:
Our client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong SQL background to join the team in Bath. You will need proven experience in data engineering or DBA roles, and are skilled in Azure, SSIS, and DataBricks. You will be joining an established data team and will be given the opportunity to progress quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and manage SQL-based data pipelines for a data warehouse.
- Handle data integration, transformation, and ingestion to support analytics.
- Develop and maintain efficient data models.
- Work with Azure, SSIS, and DataBricks to streamline data work flows.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimise data processes for quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven and extensive experience in SQL environments, with a focus on data engineering or DBA roles.
- Expertise in SQL/T-SQL, data integration, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, SSIS, and DataBricks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous optimisation.
