Live out Junior Housekeeper job in Wiltshere, Near Bath
A returning client of ours is looking for a Junior Housekeeper to assist them in their large property on a 12-month fixed term contract. You do not need any previous private household experince as full training will be provided. However preference will be given to those who have cleaning or hospitality experience. The ideal candidate will be keen to learn detail-oriented, proactive, trustworthy,friendly, and discreet. They will enjoy working alongside others and have a positive upbeat attitude. This is a great opportunity to join a really friendly and fun team. The family are relaxed, informal and very friendly. The family also have children and pets. This is a lovely Monday - Friday role with great working hours.
Duties:
- All housekeeping duties to include (but not exclusively) dusting, window and mirror cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, emptying/washing bins, cleaning of toilets/showers.
- Periodic deep cleans of the kitchens, waxing of the floors and surfaces.
- Laundry and Ironing to a high standard
- Any other reasonable ad hoc duties that may arise.
- Ability to be flexible and provide cover to team absences.
- Maintaining high standards across the property taking initiative to resolve and/or report areas that do not meet required standards
- Care for the family's pets (shared)
- Some light cooking/ food prep alongside the chef
- Some driving duties
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other staff
Days: Monday - Friday with flexibility for very occasional weekend work - will be paid overtime
Hours: 8am - 4.30 pm
Salary: Negotiable please present your expectations (This is an entry-level salary)
