Role OverviewAs a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom learning and providing essential pastoral care. Working closely with teachers, you will help students reach their full potential, particularly those with additional learning needs. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
- Leading small group intervention sessions
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in schools and a strong commitment to supporting children's education. You should be patient, organised, and an excellent communicator, with the flexibility and enthusiasm to inspire young learners. Experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant is desirable, but relevant experience is also beneficial.
